1997 Haiku by Betty Harris

Fluttering leaves Blanket the lawn Where's the rake?

Brisk autum breeze      Whirling leaves      Work for the boys.

First snowfall caps, gloves, boots Inevitable

     Snow-wind-cold      Unwanted beauty      Nature's call

Trees give shade Leaves must fall Birds must leave

     Harvest moon      Bright petunias      frost-drooped

Roses droop Buys galore Omnipresent dandelions thrive
