Dear Ones All: How can it be December already? I haven’t yet recovered from October and November. Out of Wisconsin’s snow, ice and wind chill ~ into Oregon’s wind, rain and fog! I’ll be spending the holidays with Merry, Doug and whatever grandchildren are available. A few church and community activities keep me as busy as I want to be. Since both the calendar and the clock wait for no one I’m compromising on my personally designed card this year. (My clock moves more slowly than the one on the wall.) Family members and friends from Chicago area and Menomonie joined me for a bountiful Thanksgiving. Bruce, Darlene and Jeremy also joined us; nice to have them so close. On the world scene, in spite of many tragedies, the messages of hope and peace prevail, and the military is deployed with the objective of keeping the peace, not making war. An improvement! On this 50th anniversary of the United Nations, share with me a prayer of Dag Hammarskjold. With all good wishes for Christmas ‘95 and New Year ‘96 Love, Betty
