Introduction (Pg.1) Although I was with acquainted with my Grandfather, Adam Boice McCain, from the year 1886 to the year 1891, it has occurred to memory times since then that I know very little of his younger manhood and practically nothing of his youth and boyhood.     My wife, Willa Holmes McCain, has suggested that for the benefit of someone in a future generation who is minded to investigate the family tree, I should write a little about myself.  These paragraphs are written in response to this suggestion.
