Harris   533 Linden St.  River Falls, WI 54022  December 1990  DEAR ONES ALL:              Here I am again, greeting you from the beautiful frozen Northland, snug, warm and thankful in my own cosy nest.  It’s fortunate I have commitments that make me venture forth now and then or I might be tempted to hibernate ‘till spring.

Harris  533 Linden St.  River Falls, WI 54022   Dear Ones All:           After a full week of Christmas Concerts, both as listener and participant, I’m finally convinced that the season is upon us.  Time to gather my thoughts and send greetings to family and friends.  Let’s see, what was significant about 1987 now that it’s nearly over?

Harris 533 Linden St.  River Falls, WI 54022  December, 1986  Greetings to Family and Friends:           “Almost boiling makes tea”, says my dear friend as she pours from the steaming kettle over the fragrant tea leaves.  But there is nothing “almost” about our shared memories and warm feelings.  Of course, a cup of tea thus made must be sipped slowly, with plenty of time for conversations, reflections, a few laughs and even the exchange of some new ideas.

         Season’s Greetings    December, 1985    Dear Ones All: As I consider the beauty and abundance which surrounds me I am truly thankful for the blessings I enjoy here in Wonderful White Wisconsin - even the abundance of snow!  We’ve already had ½ of our yearly quota. 

December, 1984                         533 Linden St. River Falls, WI. 54022   Dearest Family Members and Friends:             Once again good thoughts of you are flying through the air as we observe the annual exchange of remembrance and fond wishes and catch up on each other’s activities.  

Dear Ones All:          Well, I was going to send you a belated Christmas & New Year greeting with my NEW address but as it happened, the key person in a chain of three transactions involving four people decided to drive west and so all the plans hit the fan and now we’re back to square one.  I’m still here at home (314 N. Fremont St. and buried in 45” of snow), very cozy and very involved as always.

Fremont St.  River Falls, Wis. 54022  December 1982  Dear Ones All:           God has truly blessed my year in all these ways and many more.  In my “Coming in and going out” I have renewed old friendships and gained new ones, and am constantly enriched thereby.  My “travelling about” has been enhanced by my new blue (what other color is there?)Lynk which I like more and more.  We’ll see how it performs on snow and ice any day now.
